Coach Martin started judo at 14 years old in 1994 at Salem Budokai.
From 1995 to 2002, he competed at local and national level events until promoted to Shodan
Black Belt in July 2002.
He then competed locally and internationally for 4 years and coached until 2019 at Salem Budokai, as well as at North Sound BJJ and Judo, where he also trained jiujitsu.
